Want to install a light that light up (got maybe 30 sec to one minute only) after switching off engine or when door is open. Any idea where can i tap power from? First came to mind is from cabin door light switch. But the light i want to install is in the engine bay, so its quite a long route to the engine bay. Wondering if any advise where can i tap power from?

I was wondering how to hook up a sub if you have one or two voice coils, and how it affects the impedance, which of course determines what kind of amp you should be looking for. Dear all, Any idea where can get WS to help me re-allign n glue back my bodykit? My bodykit install for 1yr plus alreay and to date rear bumper mis-alligned due to knocks etc. side skirt n body got gap inbetween n wire mash think clip came off. Thanks bros in advance -
Hi, has anyone extended their gps wire before? The gps is plugged into the lighter socket and I want run the wire under the dashboard to place the gps at the right corner of driver side. But the wire is too short to run inside the dashboard. Anyone knows where can I extend the wire? Thanks

Have anyone experienced wiring harness' insulation got harden and peels off by itself within the engine bay.? My TomYam ride coming to 6th years, stock condition within engine bay. Location : Wirings above alternator area. Is this normal for old ride or probably due to material's durability problem.? Fearing that wirings may further damage, short circuit or caught fire.. Seeking further advise / recommendation..?

Need help to wire 12V switch with lamp. This 12V switch has 3 legs, how should I wire it so that the lamp of the switch will light up? This is the "illuminated" type of switch. I check the legs with multimeter while toggling the switch, only 2 legs contact opens & closes. Nothing on the leg with the "+" sticker above it. So far I used the 2 legs which contact opens & closes with toggling, lamp does not light up. Bros with DIY experience please advice me. Thanks.

Lately, heard that Cutting of VVTI, MIVEC or VTEC wire and used unichip to tune, can tremenously increase the HP up to 30 HP There is even a Colt Plus Turbo cut the MIVEC and HP become 200Plus Not sure how true? Or had any brother done before?

I'm driving a Civic ES5. Want to run a small lenght of cable to the top of the dash near the ERP unit. Can any1 give me pointers on how to do it. I suspect need to loosen the 3 bolts (14mm) located at the right side of the dash facing the driver's door. Cos they have scratch marks from been handled by a socket.

regarding DIY joining of wires: most installers, when joining, say, 2 speaker wires together, would use "clips" of some sort. i notice the clip contact points are some grey-coloured metal material, not sure what they are. what do you think of this method, as compared to, say: twisting both ends of the wires together, and taping it up i suppose these cheap clips aren't of wonderful material, and twisting copper wires together give the best contact, right? are there inexpensive clips available of higher quality that provides the ease of clipping together with the reliability of material? does anyone DIY power cable connection to battery + terminal? i've got a clip but it's of the wrong size/shape. not sure what would be suitable - apparently my clip, which looks like a loop that can be clamped into the + terminal, is too thick in material, and the hole of the loop is too large. so gotta look for something thinner and smaller .. i suppose sim lim would have such a thing, but not sure if any1 knows the technical name of this piece, or the sizing, so that i could ask specifically for it at simp limp ...

Hi All, I heard a slight rattling sound from my engine, so I checked it out. I found that my right most sparkplug wire was slightly higher than the rest, and as such, it was loose and vibrating in it's hole. I tried pushing it down, but it would not return to it's normal position. What could be wrong? My engine runs fine, and there's no unusual behaviours other than the rattle of the cable.

Greetings, Wishing everyone a happy CNY. Had been asking around regarding the "mesh wire" type front grille but to no avail. Can someone let me know where can I find it? I am attaching a picture to explain what I meant. Those that are pointed by the red arrows are the grille that I am looking for. BTW, I am driving a 2001 Galant VRG. Anyone here has "extensive" experience doing DIY Wire Mesh Grill ? I've seen some Japanese website which DIY the entire grill by removing the center part and stick a wire mesh over it ! See before and after pic. Wonder if it can be easily DIY ? I've taken a look at mine, and it seems that the original grill are glued on...
