Power down and power up again would usually cause the system to boot normally. Sometimes, it doesn't. Once it boots up normally, any RESTART from WinXP would boot up fine. I recently upgraded my video card from a XFX 8600GTS 256mb to a Palit 9800GT 512mb Sonic. The new card requires a minimum of 450W and a rating of 24a. My old PSU was a Coolermaster Extreme Power 550W. 12v1 + 12v2 = 16a + 16a = 32a Distributor tech tested my card fine. Said it is PSU not supplying enough power. Went down to another shop and described the situation. Also said it's not enough power. But when I said it was running 550W, they were surprised that it could not run as they assemble theirs with 550w working as well. Itchy finger, bought a new PSU: Aerocool Modular 650w. 12v1 + 12v2 + 12v3 + 12v4 = 18a + 18a + 18a + 18a = 72a. Installed it. Still same problem. Checked RAM. All 4 gig is fine. Noticed something. Upon 1st time powering up, all drives NOT detected. System freeze after successful RAM check. Only 2nd time onwards power on, drives are detected and system boots normally. WinXP SP3 C: is a PATA to SATA 160g D: is PATA 40g Lycosa keyboard with MS Mouse Sound is onboard chip Seriously need help here.

OK this is a heads up for the cheepomen here like me. If you don't want to support Cursedlube and if you happen to be travelling up to KL and visit Mid Valley Megamall, the Ace Hardware there sells engine oil. Here are the prices. 5W30 and 10W30 are MYR13.90/qt rated SJ and SL with starburst symbol. HD30 if you want a straight weight 30wt oil for your Kangoo or something is MYR12.90/qt exceeds SJ and SL w/o starburst symbol. 10W30 is available in 1 USGAL bottle. MYR58.80! All this are not syn oil. Now allow me to cry. Why did Ace Hardware have to close down here. Why! Why!

I'm going to buy some aftermarket rims only from overseas, and they do not provide the lug bolts, bolt caps and hubcentric rings. Anyone knows of any shop here that sells all these stuff? presumably at wholesale level? TIA Basically I have researched and i know the specifications of those bolts and rings i need. Basically don't quite trust those tyre shops to source the parts for me.

Hi, juz bot a wash pad from ACE Hardware in Novena. Anyone tried the product for car washes. I used it and tot it was a little rough. Any other suggestions for sponges that dun scratch and the place to get them? Also, the chamois i got is a useless piece of equipment. Any suggestions? Thanks!
