C708 Neutral Newbie November 17, 2004 Share November 17, 2004 Z, When going via JB / Woodlands, drive out from Woodlands checkpoint , turn around after the checkpoint..do not drive straight along the coast. turn into Jln Wong Ah Fook ( I think ) where City plaza is.....drive straight on towards Taman Sentosa.......road signs say Kota Tinggi.....u will reach the Highway turn off about 5 km onwards...its on your left. Hope that helps........If you are really unsure. take the 2nd link...wun go wrong

Leshackks Neutral Newbie November 17, 2004 Share November 17, 2004 Skudai Exit Follow the route to Skudai. Then go straight all the way until u see the "SIRIM" n "MUDA PAsifik" Signboard after a 30 mins drive. The you'll c the highway road saying to Melaka n Kuala Lumpur on your right, then the right exit. U r on the highway liao. Tebrau Exit Follow the route to Kota Tinggi. Go straight until u pass a T junction with the Cosplus on your right hand side. Take the exit on your left after you c a NSH sighboard.

Patcheon Neutral Newbie November 17, 2004 Share November 17, 2004 (edited) Stayed at Century Makhota eariler this year. Got the apt type room. Not too bad like condo except kitchen is for show only, not allowed to cook. Also don't expect singapore's 5 star hotel standards. Maybe 3 star. The room I got is facing the fly over and partially the straits, balcony is facing Malacca downtown, nice day and night view. Think u can ask for rooms with balcony facing straits, great day view but all dark at night. Parking seems okay, at least parked there over night with steering wheel lock and nothing happened but IMHO still depend on luck as there are no checks when we drove in and out of the hotel. Quite near to downtown Malacca, Jonker street, Malacca Jaya etc, and Makhota square is just opposite. Personally felt buffet breakfast there is so-so, would prefer to go out on the streets to hunt for local delights. One thing is that got to let all taps run for almost 10 minutes for water to turn from yellow to clear. In the end, decided to buy bottled water for drinking. Decided to go budget on next 2 trips and stayed in Emperor Hotel. Parking seems riskier as car park is a open unlighted field back of the hotel, but luckily nothing happened. Also noticed not many cars in Malacca use steering wheel lock unlike KL. But still as we are not locals there so better to use. Good luck and enjoy your trip Edited November 17, 2004 by Patcheon
Linus Clutched November 18, 2004 Share November 18, 2004 not bad... depends which side u are given. some facing the mahkota shopping and hospital nearby. some is facing the sea. others facing the go-kart track. ↡ Advertisement
