one of the biggest hurdle in self importing is that u hv to pay cash for the car upfront. but since MI's rex omv is onli abt 20k (and that's incl freight), add another $5k for non-agent price, the hurdle doesn't seem that difficult to overcome.

But as with most turbos, added power is but a tweak away

talking about tweaking.. may i know how to go about tuning the engine to increase the hp? i have an old car at home with v8 3.5L but only 152 bhp, heard it can be easily tuned to 200 - 220 bhp, but the questions is how? [confused]

Guess for NA cars, the usual array of mods, like intakes, cams etc?

Hmm..what car do you have at home with a V8 3.5? [shocked]

oh that means when they say 'tune' they actually means mod?? [crazy]

i was stupid enough to think that 'tune' means just change some setting without adding in new stuff [laugh]

the old car is a rover, no one is using coz too jiak yiu (eat petrol) liao [sweatdrop]

so at home collecting dust.. what a waste.. don't think can start anymore..

i am planning to restore it when i have some $$ to spare in the future [thumbsup]

Do you know the diff in the STi & STi spec C, besides just the weight confused.gif

I believe they use a different turbo, and the deletion of aircon etc [sweatdrop]

Probably suspension and steering settings as well [cool]

Don't quote me, i might be wrong, tune might be some fiddling of settings [laugh][laugh] Like ECU tune might be the changing of some parameter [;)]

Wow..you mean you have a car just sitting at home [shocked][shocked]
