Raycsk Neutral Newbie January 2, 2004 Share January 2, 2004 Somehting related here. I bought PPS from Universal Consultants and DIY 4 months back. Pretty good stuff cause its pretty resistant the effects of the weather. Now I wash car less often without worry of rain stains.

Raycsk Neutral Newbie January 2, 2004 Share January 2, 2004 (edited) How long do I wash? Before PPS every 2 weeks or so. After about 1 month plus (lazy lah!) DIY? It coems with 2 small bottles and an applicator 1. Mix bottle #1 with warm water and apply onto car after a wash. Leave it to dry for a couple of minutes, it becomes hazy. Rinse off and Dry car. Apply bottle #2 with applicator in small amounts (its looks like very thick liquid wax off white in colour) apply like car wax a section at a time then buff off. Its pretty hard to apply and buff to a shine. Where to buy? Universal Consultants (UC) is located at Kallang (caanot remember the exact road or building name). Derrick from UC told me about this product when I met him about some stuff. So after thinking about it I decided to try it out. I costs about S$100+++. UC is the local distributor of Broquet. Ao8200 Neutral Newbie January 3, 2004 Share January 3, 2004 (edited) No worries . Forgot to add, they give 4X FOC clean up (1.6L and below) and they clean other parts as well when doing the PPS (sports rims, leather seats, dash etc but using some other products, PPS for paintwork only). To share my experience: Mine is a white Honda Civic ES8, paintwork was bad after 2 years, beginning to oxidise. They took a day to do my car. Even took out the front license plate to clean my bumper. They use some equipment (similar to polishing type) to apply the PPS. Told me something about need to apply constant pressure for perfect coat. Me Paid about close to 3.5 times the cost of PPS from UC but I think its worth it . And just like what Raycsk says, dirt really don't stick. Got some road tars, touch it and came off just like that. Am continuing to monitor. BTW, they love doing black cars especially RAV4 type of black. If you don't want to so much, maybe worth trying it out. Disclaimer: I'm not advertising for Jerry nor do I know him prior to applying PPS. A friend introduced the product and so we try it out, 3 cars in all. Cheers!
