Was told that all the stocks for April delivery have sold out even book now earliest delivery will be in May i wonder if it's a marketing strategy... i think i ever heard from a PI last yr dat M3 stocks will only be in SG around mid yr... btw, i do hope dat the price will drop since all the while it's pricing has been comparable wif Mit Lancer... eh, am i correct? Acemundo Supercharged January 27, 2004 Share January 27, 2004 of course. what i trying to tell him is to compare apples to apples cos the price that was quoted for m3 comes with more accessories and is auto version. so he should compare lancer auto add a few k for higher cc and accessories then - bingo, theoretically lancer 1.6 did not hit below 70k also. Andrewtankw 1st Gear January 27, 2004 Share January 27, 2004 I think for the price of 76+ k for the basic sedan model is acceptable and not too highly priced. Taking into account the higher OMV and the fact that it is a newer design /model and the made in japan tag, the comparison with the Altis 1.6 would show that perhaps it commands a premium of 1-2k more. As for the price coming down in the next few months.. difficult to see that happening with all the backlog of cars waiting to be delivered, the COE should be coming up.
