Airgod Neutral Newbie January 3, 2004 Share January 3, 2004 Hi! all bros, hope anyone here can help me. I had install E68 on my car. the mechanic installed it by tapping on the booster hose(that's what he told me)I now confused.is it the brake booster hose). If it is, Is it correct? After the installation, my car did not face any idling problem like some of the members mention. Even though I can feel the improvement on pick-up and 2500rpm and above the engine is smoother. Is there any danger if they tap on the brake booster hose instead of the air inlet manifold? My car is an NA airtrek. Does anyone know the correct placement of the E68? I try to search photos on the net for airtrek installation but to no avail. I hope any bros out here can help me. tks in advance ↡ Advertisement

Throttleb Neutral Newbie January 5, 2004 Share January 5, 2004 usaully the brake booster hose and thge inlet manifold hose is the same hose as they are connected to each other via THAT hose. That is why some pple faced problems when putting a bleed in device on that line. some cars are more sensitive.

Normal_aspirated Clutched January 5, 2004 Share January 5, 2004 Don't put too much air thru the E68 or Airmax, in so doing u definitely affect yr brake servo. Try adding a Capsule in between brake-servo and T-joint of E68. Take note of Capsule direction please.
Airgod Neutral Newbie January 5, 2004 Author Share January 5, 2004 How much is too much? can i know? Mine, i turn the knob till near end, till the suction is strong. is it too much? is there a guide for how many turn of the knob is? So far definitely, my car improve on the pick up aespecially 2200-3000rpm onwards. So far my brake did not feel any different, i had try braking at high speed. throttle is light, shiok . The teenie weenie vibration on steering also gone(notice by my wify, she did not know that i install the E68). Idling very stable, juz like before putting the E68. So far i am very happy with it $140, make so much different. If i put capsule where should i install it? and whats the improvement shall i gain? Sorri if i ask you too much. I hope you can share with me and other bros who read this. thks a million in advance
Normal_aspirated Clutched January 5, 2004 Share January 5, 2004 Varies from car to car. To much air will cause rough idling to my 323 and sometimes stall my engine. If completed closed, no suction means no E68 at all. U have to find a best spot by trial and error. From my experience the Toyota G7, more air the better, except idling rpm will rise above 1000rpm.
