depends on what you want....as for Fiat Punto 1.3A, the car comes with factory fitted atf cooler.......cheers

like this got to look at many angles, like $$$$$ involved whether the return is good, or just a waste of time and to tell yourself that it protects your auto-box....think it is all in the mind really.

my take is that if such actions can really help in reducing the breakdown of the auto-box, then go for it.

no doubt there is a question mark....but deep down my question is that why the manufacturer do not implement such a part whereby will help them getting more sales indirectly.

also included a cooling fan to cool the atf cooler.....wow !!! surprises me indeed.

hehe..like u, i wasn't sure of the efficacy of the ATF cooler until the Fiat SE told me about it being found usually in higher end cars only

did you ask which model or make in the higher end cars ? as for the fiat punto, probably because of its capacity thats wny needed the atf cooler. ( might be wrong )

cos i was not too expert so i tot i come back and read up more abt the ATF cooler. so far i get from searching MCF is quite a vague description.

 

but it really surprise me cos i thought a small cc engine shld have less need for the cooler.

beg to differ, how about overworking the tranny box due to lower capacity ?
