Mineral or Semi Synthetic Oil

Any recommendation for a good mineral or synthetic oil?

 

Anyone ever tried comparing mineral oil with synthetic oil say Mobil 1 and found the difference in performance negligible?

First point to note is your drain intervals. If you're changing oil every 5k then mineral will suffice, the fuel economy gain from syn at 5k change interval does not justify for the higher cost of syn oils.
