Zrun Neutral Newbie June 28, 2004 Share June 28, 2004 (edited) Scroll down to see the broken TRD rear sway bar. (Top image is a competitor's rear sway bar, which is way better built) The TRD sway bar is not even welded properly together. Just a bar with two end caps. Unlike the competitor's 1 piece construction. http://www.matrixowners.com/modules.php?na...er=asc&start=15 All TRD products have some form of warranty, but this guy's warranty is voided because he installed it himself. Genie47 1st Gear June 28, 2004 Share June 28, 2004 Are you really sure it is a TRD product. I have come across some "TRD" products. There are many "TRD" products in the streets. Buyer beware.

Genie47 1st Gear June 28, 2004 Share June 28, 2004 Usually lets say for camshafts from TRD. They are not stamped but embossed with "TRD". I've seen more stamped ones than embossed.
Ghostrider 3rd Gear June 28, 2004 Share June 28, 2004 My experience with TRD are ok. Not everything TRD are value for money. Some stuffs they dun manufacture themselves...like spark plug...print TRD on it sell 30bucks for a 20 bucks ND plugs. I used their cams plus racing valves before...they really do release some extra ponies to my car. Car sure picks up faster....using a handheld stopwatch...my century sprint shaved off close to 1 sec. Zrun Neutral Newbie June 28, 2004 Author Share June 28, 2004 The TRD in USA sells stuffs from Toyota Dealership.. SO it must be real. This person bought it from dealership, installed himself, but cannot get warranty repair when it breaks.
Genie47 1st Gear June 29, 2004 Share June 29, 2004 Oh well! No need TRD stuff. Lots of good stuff out there. LSDs, I can think Quaiffe. Spark plugs, NGK. Clutch and pressure plate, Daikin. Their heavy clutches are great. BTW, Exedy is Daikin. ↡ Advertisement
