Hi

It's been long time I have not been in this forum . I have a brand new Honda Jazz 1.3L LA Manual, grey color for sale. The car is 100% because I won from M1 contest and right now I have not collected it from Kah Motor yet. I have also checked with the person in charge at Kah Motor, the car can be be registered with your name as first owner (not second owner as I thought the rule of the contest before). It means as long as I have a COE under category E or, you yourself have a COE under category A or category E, we can come together to Kah Motor to register your name as first owner of the car. So there will be no difference if you buy the car from me or from Kah Motor. You are registered as first owner on paper, you collect a brand new car directly from Kah Motor with standard package, including 6 month road tax free, radio licence free, free registration.

If interested you can email me at [email protected] or call me at my mobile 93277784 for fast deal. You can give your offer for price with COE or price without COE also can.

Thanks & regards,

Jenny

Dear Everybody,

I planned to buy Honda Fit. Will any body advise me what are the items I need to check for and how to identify good parallel importer? Lot of my frinds suggest me to go for authorised dealer like Kah motors compare to parallel importer. Is it parallel importer are reliable? Pls share yr views? Some prallel importer are giving 5 yrs warranty, Is it any condition bound behind or not I am not very sure? I appreciate your comments and advise which will help me to decide to go for PI FIT or Autorised dealer Jazz.

I would greatly appreciate your feedback and comments. Thanks in advance.

Cheers.

Hi Sanji37,

I'm with one of the local PI. A average baby-stroller would easily fits into a Honda Fits boots. There is no spare tyres in Honda Fits, which is replace with a recovery kits. Therefore it create more space for the boot. In terms of boot space, Honda Fit with its Hatchback design and foldable back seats, you have the option to carry bigger objects onboard if there is a need, as compared to an average sedan car.

Things to look out for if u r buying from PI, examples,

COE Bid, isit g'teed, how many bids, any top-up needed?

Interest rates %

Warranty

Your car year of Manufacture

How much you need to top up if u r on a low loan or overloan scheme.

What accessories you are getting.

Delivery date of the car to you. ( to be written on the sales agreement)

Make sure u r not getting the display car, or old manufacture dated car.

When collecting ur car, make sure u do a check that all accessory n stuff r well fitted with no damages or scratches on the car.

Most important is getting ur car from a reputable PI, least u minimised the risk factor of having a bad experience for the rogue PI. If you do ur homework well, there is no way a PI or AD agent can smoke u in anyway, and in returns u save a decent sum of $ in getting the best deal.

For the new fit 08, definitely not a problem. The older version might be a bit tight for your liking..

For better design, better fuel consumption car, go for fit..

For practical usage, go for avante.. Avante boot space is very big and ride is quieter..

Hi, I'm very new here so can't start a new topic. But I've been reading this forum quite a bit. And I really hope one of you (or many of you) can help me.

I bought a 2 yr old Honda FIT 1.3 with skyroof, and drove it home happily last week. Mileage reads about 18000, which I took to be correct.

After driving it home, I 'kay bah' and went back to the website that sold the car just to look see again. Then I enlarged the interior picture of the dashboad and guess what??? Once enlarged, I could see clearly that the mileage was 35491,and not the 18000 in my car!! I'm very sure it's the same car 'cos the IU above has a piece of dangling sticker, which I kept reminding myself to use scotchtape to tape it back.

Wah, have I been cheated? I very silly and called my dealer immediately to question him. Of course he said no such thing! Honda FIT mileage cannot tweak one! If don't believe, he can come take the car to his workshop to verify. I said no need! Reason being, I don't want to go to his recommended car workshop. Maybe they both 'pah kak' one le???

I want to go directly to one myself. I don't mind paying for the service fee. So, can anyone of you Honda gurus here recommend a reliable and experience PI Honda car workshop for me?

I don't intend to bring this case against the dealer cos I know it'll be fruitless. I bought the FIT without triple checking and questioning the dealer to death, about the mileage. I'm at fault too. Now, I just need a confirmation on the mileage so that when and if I should sell the car next time, I can give an honest mileage reading to the next buyer.

Stupid me.

I think you have to pick one with of the same period.

Honda always have new facelift and change everytime.

Can't really tell they might be the same.

but new model come out too fast.

every time something changes.

to me, i think Jazz/Fit is the same.

Acceleration wise. 10.5 sec?

Well... I doubt...

Bought at West Coat car mart. Anyway, I confronted the dealer and he admitted tweaking the odo. He was quite apologetic and offered to give me 4 new tyres. Haven't accepted yet. Well, the FIT's been good so far, am happy with the purchase, so....guess I'll just let this pass quietly.......
