Bcyn Neutral Newbie July 7, 2004 Share July 7, 2004 depends on how deep is the scratch...if its a light one den polish would be able to remove it. but if its deep, u might wanna try Advance Scratch Master or Chipsaway at Ubi.

Genie47 1st Gear July 10, 2004 Share July 10, 2004 (edited) I got rear-ended today. No damage except for scratches. I waved the driver off. Nothing serious. Was quite funny. Was singing to my daughter as I stopped on Dunearn Rd for the turn off to Farrer Rd. Then "bonk!". Looked at my clutch and gear. Nothing! On neutral and then it occured to me I got rear ended. I came out, took a look and found 2 scratches on the bumper. The driver has backed off. He came out too. I waved him off and said "nothing serious! Forget it!" He thanked me and we went on our seperate ways. Edited July 10, 2004 by Genie47

Blackaveo Neutral Newbie July 11, 2004 Share July 11, 2004 I share your predicament. That was what happened to me 3wks after I got my black Aveo. It was ironic actually on that day. During that morning I was cleaning my car near my void deck. Then came this friendly driver of a Merc car. so we chit chat. Before he left, he asked me why I chose black colour? My reply was coz it the most appealing to me. His words of caution : "Care with your black car, if it's shiny, ppl like to scratch it". That afternoon, my brother borrowed my car. Upon returning my car at nite he said my car was badly vandalised (scratched from rear right door to the oil tank). Of coz I didn't ask for compensation lah, we're brothers, although he insisted on sending it for a spray. I'm learning to live with it for a while. Goffy3 Neutral Newbie July 11, 2004 Author Share July 11, 2004 Oh No! 3 times in 2 weeks? Must be the same sick moron at work. I wonder what kind of kick they get by scratching ppl's car. Of all the coloured cars, they always aim at BLACK cars!
Goffy3 Neutral Newbie July 11, 2004 Author Share July 11, 2004 I tot of sending it for a spray too but I cant imagine how I'll take it if it's going to be vandalised again. So! Just like you, I'm learning to live with it...
