First of all, if you are those type that reach your destination before 7am and leave office after 7pm type will benefit. The other types are those that only need the car on weekends. I don't think you want to drive around without your ticket, the penalty is heavy and besides with your red car plate, you stick out like a sore thumb. Aspri Clutched July 20, 2004 Share July 20, 2004 Erm maybe 2 year old car a bit difficult. These are usually going for 55k and above for Lancer and Corolla. Take away 5k (not including your transfer fee and VICOM check and admin fees for the dealer), you still have to contend with a 50k loan over 8 years (96 mths) and 2.8% interest. Shd look first, shortlist liao, then go down, will be betta that way. would like to ask if i down $5000 and budget $500*120 which new car can i get or would be better getting a used car ?
