Help needed on disc brake/pad.

Whenever i step on the brake and come to a gradual stop, i can feel (thru the steering wheel)that the front wheels sort of wobble.

is this due to the warping of the brake disc or uneven wear of the brake pads?

if it is due to the disc, how much is a set of it (assuming i need to change in a pair)? or can i have it grind even?

or can it be due to the wheels instead (just have a alignment done last Dec)?

Most likely warped discs, get them skimmed and try again. No need to change if there is still thickness left to skim.

is this the first time ur disc rotor warp? If its not the first time, check the brake pads.

 

Visually inspect how the brake pads wear by putting them on a flat surface. If thickness is uneven to one side or other-end brake pad is very much thicker, I suppose your brake caliper has got at least 1 jammed floating pin and sleeve.

 

You have to skim the rotor, change a new set of brakes, lubricate the top and bottom floating pin and sleeve on the disc caliper by using molly grease.

yes, this is the first time, well since i own the car (2nd hand).

wat's the price like for skimming the rotor?

or is it better i change to a new set?
