Nice progressive springs can use stock dampers. With them they might last 2.5yrs. True sport springs will kill dampers in 1yr.

Check if Eibach Pro Kit has springs for your car.

Oh yes, welcome to MCF

hi bro...just asked James from Eibach...he say the Eibach Pro Kit is at 505..

150 installation plus computerised alignment...any advice on the price???

Does any after-market air (pneumatic) suspension kit exists for Mercedes? I want to ''soften'' the ride of my 1990 Merc W124 E200. What are my options - if any - besides suspension kits? Do you know any local workshop can help? You the expert, Gentlemen!!

I doubt so. Vtim has been using Eibach Pro Kit on his car. Ride comfort is still there.

hi bro....is Eibach Pro Kit realli gd???...is it one of those sports suspension??? is it adjustible????....how much is it????...anywhere can do it gd plu lowering of the car???...btw...my ride is a EK4 SIR...

u drive SIR might as well use TIEN colivers bro...get the super street or type Flex...should be just nice...no offense but lowering springs sometimes make your car bottom out if you are running stock asorbers cos the spring rate is not matched...or making your car bounce cos its too hard and the stock asorber cant asorb the occilations of the springs fast enough..making it dangerous..

Suspension leaking, no need to change?

Tien is good - can be used for all model like mine too.

I know it is about 400 plus for coil over, Suspension another 500 + for the back, rite?

i am not too familar with ohlins,

but it is a good brand..used in WTCC, WRC and many other international races

the whole issue of performance and whether is it suitable for you lies in your requirement... you got to ask what is your expectation and usage? and of course budget...

You can check out their website and users.

the best is to get to sit in a car that has it before buying if you can...

coz "stiffness" or ride/handling etc..are ready subjective from one person to another...

My recommendation is to ensure you maintain about 2fingers gap of your wheel arch to your tyres so to ensure sufficient suspension travel to absorb roads irregularities..and the stiffness allow you to ride across the irregularities of SG roads and not "overpowered" by the shocks or springs in such a way that you are bouncing around...

the main aim is to keep your tyres fully in contact to the road at all times...

thats the best suspension setup you can get..not about how hard or soft it is..
