Presenting the Bugatti Veyron B16.4, possibly the most powerful (1000hp, "only" 250+ mph) and most pointless car of the Paris Motor Show....esp when you consider just how many people in this post-dotcom, looming war clouds times would be in a position to consider getting it....

Hey, just read this in the latest CAR:

 

Apparently, VW's given the green light to build this crazy thing on wheels, after receiving 75 orders (along with the 190 000 pound booking fee).

 

And, more interestingly, it won't be built till 2004......
