My vote goes to the Cooper S.thumbsup.gif

If I want a fun 2nd car, that's definitely my choice!

i would go for evo8 MR.... but your criteria no 5 a bit difficult to meet... reason being, you get attracted to other models after they are introduced......

Hello!

Sorry if these sort of senseless polls have been around for ages, but I'll really like to just find out. blush.gif

Criteria is simple.

1. It has to be manual.

2. It has to be fun.

3. It should be sporty, but composed.

4. It can stand its own, staying 100% stock all its life.

5. You should not get sick of looking at it / maintaining it for 5 years at least.

Please help pick one! And flame away (constructively, please)! bounce1.gif

why no ARomeo?

The last unit of the Clio RS from Eklusive is below 100K, I was told before they bring in the RS 225 which is a turbo version ( very $$$$ )

oh i just love the megane rs.....sweet......225hp but true very expensive

the clio they have now is the 172 ver...the new one is 182....

Yeah!

Cooper S definitely's got that X-factor, without having to look excessively "futuristic" or something from "fashion-street".

It's perky its cute its got a great legacy its a Beemer family...

Only downside would be 2 doors and practicality... then again, as one of the sporty family, who bothers with those? [nod]

Indeed, rule 5 is actually kinda tough. then again who knows the future?

But I must say, models like Evo and WRX are essentially super saloons. They inspire strength, endurance and aggression. [:)]

For others like Coopers, RXs, S2000 etc, they show enjoyment, allure, and sense of dignity, which I believe leave a longer lasting impression on first look, and a lingering sentimental value as they age. That's a bonus to rule 5. [:)]

Selespeed is not a manual. [;)]

I'll put the GTA in the league of super cars... [;)]

147 1.6 M is slightly below the league. [:/]

Heehee... I know Doc Mike would love to put this "Selespeed is not manual" perspective of mine right [laugh]

Perhaps I should say it the other way, "The car has to have a manually operated clutch system." I'm handicapped without crutches, I mean clutches. [rolleyes]

The difference between the 172 & 182 is the timing has gone a notch better and the handling much improved cos of the slightly wider base but the $$ are so much different. [dizzy][dizzy][dizzy]
