Lightspeed Clutched August 10, 2004 Share August 10, 2004 Was just checking up on the price for this earlier... The xenon headlight assembly costs 320pounds per side from Butt I wonder if CA can import the part at a cheaper price Was also wondering about installing an aftermarket HID kit, but am afraid that the assembly we have might not be able to take the heat
Virus 2nd Gear August 11, 2004 Share August 11, 2004 Heard from a ex-skoda owner mention his headlight plastic turn foggy (something like melted) after changing to a high voltage PIAA bulb, end up need to change whole headlight. Remember LTA mention aftermarket HID can be fix if the car come with the alighment control which Octy has, not sure can passed??
Lightspeed Clutched August 11, 2004 Share August 11, 2004 Amos from Vass ...his headlights also turned foggy But then the original xenon lights really cost a bomb Those high voltage bulbs from Piaa...are they HID or just those 100w ones?

Beanoyip Turbocharged August 11, 2004 Share August 11, 2004 Is that for the main headlamps or for the projector lamps?
Lightspeed Clutched August 11, 2004 Share August 11, 2004 The Diamond Vision? H4 ... for the main lights... not the fog lights Thinking of changing the fogs as well, but no idea what bulbs those are
Beanoyip Turbocharged August 11, 2004 Share August 11, 2004 I suspect its just normal halogen bulbs. Usually when i drive. I just use the "fog" lights.. The main lamps seem too bright for my liking

Beanoyip Turbocharged August 11, 2004 Share August 11, 2004 Personally i think its quite costly right.. Not very worth it.. Don't really need bright lights in SG also.. its so well lit!
Lightspeed Clutched August 11, 2004 Share August 11, 2004 Those 100w conversions? Not very expensive ... just wondering if the assembly can withstand the heat True that SG roads are pretty well lit, but when the need arises, even my high beam cannot make it ↡ Advertisement
