Mass grounding - DIY workshop

this is one good tip!!! you have any shop to recommend? how much cable do we need for 5-6 points? i saw some have this metal piece connected to the -ve terminal of batt... cables are first connected to this piece, then this piece is screwed to the -ve terminal. what do you call this metal piece?

what car you driving? think you can help us ID those parts? if yes maybe we can use your car's grounding as blue print and trial n error...

 

Bro....just get 1 of our Chevykaki who has already done grounding on their car then copy the pointslah.

Can actually use their cable measurements also, much faster and effectiveleh.

That metal strip is an essential component with it you are able to run the cables much more tidy. Oh yeah dont forget to get tons of cable ties.

its the distributor, not sure if the shops there stock any. Jus get a pre-cut grounding pack from car accessories shop and use the distributor supplied, the cable in the pack is usually 3m(8AWG) in length.

 

Some cars might need longer than 3m so its best to get extra cables(commonly in red colour), lugs and heat shrinks from sim lim tower jus in case. I tink 5m shld be more then enuff liao.

 

i went to the shop at the basement, take the escalator down and the shop is on the left hand side.

Not those, the shop is located at the basement. Kinda like a hardware shop for electricians

At SLT, you can get the 8AWG for $2.50 per meter (max).

 

I still have about 30-40 lugs. Let me know if you want.

Once you are in the building, proceed to the basement. you sure can find shops selling cables.
