Internal CD_RW any recommendations?

Fast Computer:- AMD900 fast or too slow??

Video Capture Card:- how much it costs to get a new one?

CDRW drive:- got already

Video Editting software:- how much $$$$ to get an average one?

 

lets choose a good fungshui day to launch and open shop....!!!

 

any suggestion for name of the shop???... (not Presea n Super7 lah, muz be damn cool and creative name what!!>)

I think ....we need 1.2GHz and above to be safe...with at least 256MB ram.

Your motherboard should be able to take a simple CPU swap.

Too bad I FRIED my 1.2GHz AMD Thunderbird... So that one you need a new one.

I can "lend" you some ram if you don't have enough.

 

Video Capture card....about $100+

We could try one of my old capture cards...but may not get a good image

 

Vid-Editing software....er....chiong one lah! ...so add $10.

actually....this one I have.....can "share"...

sounds good ..... in fact my bro juz 'assembled' a 'chupbahlung' pc using his spare parts and a new fatherboard+CPU last week, all in he's charging me $600 only... complete with burner and the usuall goodies...... lemme go home tonite to check what's inside.... he said it's faster than the AMD900/256ram machine i m currently using...... will let you know...

 

(now i actually got 3pcs at home with wireless lan.... man, i can run a private lan shop already..... )

Then I should get a Wireless LAN PC Card...and bring my Laptop to play games ... I can even sit in my car and play from outside your gate.

 

I don't like Wireless LAN for my home....not fast enough. I prefer 100mbps CAT 5!

Then I can store all my "data" on one computer...and use the others for burning...gaming and other non-storage functions.

then you guys can all park your car outside my place, then sit in the car with full aircon and sounds.... and we all play online games with lan card .... do i expect about 20 cars outside my place any time soon???....

Hi DL & All

 

Finally bought myself a SAMSUNG CD-RW today. Model SW-240.

Just finished installing the device with a bit of "hotline" help from DL

 

Managed to burn a 256mb file so I guess it must be working...suprisingly the drive is much quieter than my CD drive.

 

 

Yah man... i got Samsung CD-RW too.. and yah... the best thing about it is that it's so quiet!! and fast!!
