Rio. Looks better, seems to have less problems. Engine based on Mazda engine.

Guess Kia is a more reputable brand than Hyundai (IMHO..) [;)]

At least Rio have better interior styling then Accent, not forgetting the protection enforcement for front, rear and side impact bar compared to Accent! Most importantly, accent FC should be higher than Rio.

I am not a fan of both make or model. BUT, i like to know from your UNBIASED point of view, when will a Hyundai be better than a Kia?

Even though i will not buy a Hyundai or Kia right now because of their lousy quality and unattractive styling, i must say that both Rio and Accent FC are not really impressive but I have heard more positive for Accent's FC, i have read magazine test drive and owner's feedback, the Accent seems to have a better report than Rio.

One thing positive abt Rio is the price and the HB nicer than Accent HB.

I do hope u can be more neutral in future... cause seems like all cars regardless of makes vs Kia.... Kia always win or perfect to you. Is Kia really that good?

Have, 1.3 and 1.5 Hatchback.

To others here:

Hatchback is a general term, as long as the rear boot open up with the rear wind screen, it's consider a hatchback.

Manufacturers came up with many terms to differentiate their HB, Proton Wira Aeroback, Corolla Liftback, think another one is "fastback" ie design of rear of car which look more sportier or faster. Larger hatch in terms of body size (Citroen C5, XM, Renault Laguna, Seat Toledo, Skoda Octavia) are usually classified as Hatchback but most of the time people don't really view them as HB as they are big in size and HB usually make Singaporeans think is a small car. Eg. my car is a Daewoo Nexia HB (abt 4.25m long) has got a sedan version (4.45m long) and some of my friends compare it with a Kelisa??? Singaporeans always have the thinking that HB are small car but the space in it is same as the sedan version, some more my boot is consider big for a Hatch.

I feel that Accent 5Dr is consider a hatchback to me (maybe look very compact to me) even though more to a liftback styling. (liftback is a hatch where the rear roof line slope down to the tail and is longer than conventional hatch, usually have a little bit of boot rather than like Fiat Uno or Hyundai Getz where u don't see any bootline. Famous liftback are Toyota Corolla, Proton Wira, Mazda 626, Elantra also got liftback too.

If you want to talk abt Stationwagon.... think also got a few terms...Stationwagon, Estate, Sportswagon

Most will be Roofless car...

Roofless car which:

- Americans called : Convertible (Mustang)

- Italians called: Cabriolet (Fiat Punto, VW Golf even though German)

- is a 2 seater : Roadster (usually) Mazda MX5, Boxster

- has retractable hard top: Coupe Cabriolet (cc) Mercedes SLK, 206cc, 307cc

- only retract the roof: Targa (Porsche 914, 911 Targa, Honda CRX DeSol)

- has glass top but has got a bar in middle: T-Bar (NX Coupe, Fairlady 300zx)

- has fabric retract roof all the way: Fun Top (Mazda 121, Mazda 2, VW Polo)

- has roof is glass all the way: Glass top/roof (206, Mini)

He is our resident Kia-Nazi. If he starts the Kia Reich, he will put forward a program for the mass extermination of all other non-Aryan ooops! I mean non-Kia cars. He will round them up into concentration wrecking yards and make the other cars do manual labor under the watchful eyes of deemed superior Kia cars. Finally when it is due, he will instruct the Kias to send the other non-Kia cars to furnaces to burn them sly.giflaugh.gif

I thought I saw a message from the Kia advertisement that Kia has just finish selling the stock on hand Kia 1.3M and they are not bringing in this 1.3 anymore.
