definitely u can add more grounding points..

some suggested points:

Cylinder Head = Engine Block

- Distributor = The part which separates electrical power into each plug

- Bulk Head = The iron wall between engine bay and car interior

Suggested connecting points - Example Two

A = 1st body earth for electrical parts - B = 2nd body earth - C = Engine block - D = Throttle body - E = Alternator - F = Battery negative terminal - G = 3rd body earth ** Please click on the above image to get closeup views of each portion.

Suggested connecting points - Example Three (recommended by Sigma Automotive)

1) Engine head near spark plugs - better spark plug performance

2) Engine head near stock earth wire - better injector & ignition coil performance

3) Near alternator - reduces power loss

4) Near cell motor - quicker engine start-up

5) Stock body earth cable for electrical parts - electric parts perform better

6) Stock body earth cable near battery - enhance general stock body earth conduction

Let me clarify.

Yes, I got three brother after install my VS, the battery went dead.

First car, the battery already 18 month liao.Battery dead after 2 hour of VS install.

Second Car, the battery water total dry up.Battery dead after 3 day of install.

Third car, it happened that the maintain free battery was about a year liao. Battery dead after about 1 month.

I have installed my VS in April 05, battery still going strong. Recently went to CAS,tested my battrey is still good condition.

All the above mentioned cases even it dont install teh VS, teh battery will kaput anytime.

Neutral Newbie
Once the engine is running the alternator charges the battery and supplies power to all the systems. That is why you can still run around with an almost dead battery but not with a dead alternator. The alternator's supply isn't that steady so the go in-between is the battery.
the last time my alternator died, i push start the starlet all by myself [sweatdrop] open door, neutral gear and push until rolling... then faster jump in and before the car slows to a stop, engage 2nd gear, rev, and crank the ignition... once started then no problems le... but i wouldnt wanna do that again [:|]
