Nope, the warranty is still at 1 year. I asked the SE about the ratonale and he told me that in the past, a lot of dudes went out to mod their cars during the warranty period and when something happened to the car, they just took out the mods, slap back the stock parts and sent it back to MI for repairs. Thus MI decided to shorten their warranty period to just 1 year.

So how old is your ride?

Cool.....

I just went down to ST Powered yesterday and met another happy owner of a barely 1 week old Rex as well. He was changing his twin exhaust pipe to the Apexi hybrid ones. I was looking for some defi guages but unfortunately the turbo boost guage is out of stock. Got to wait till next week.

Anyway the great thing about the Rex is there are loads of accessories and after mkt parts to play around it......hehehe.....very exciting!

Nowadays, TP is very strick on mod. If you go out late at night often, be careful of the road blocks. Try to avoid obvious exhaust mod, exhaust is the first thing they go after.

hehe...ALL beemers come wif 2 la....tongue.gif

Btw, whats the fuel consumption for your 5ser? Averages 8-9km per litre or better? I tested the 320 coupe and its quite nice although its underpowered. Who knows I may join the BeeM club soon [cool][sly]

Why get the coupe ? Insurance is high just because its a 2 door and it isn't even powerful. Not exactly worth it ... If your really into coupe, maybe you could join forces with this other MCF guy whose buying a coupe as well [thumbsup]

By the way your 318 and 320s are more of small family sedan category kind of cars. Not STis and EVOs like most people think it is. I would say the power is pretty good as compared to other small family sedan. For the 320 it should be 1500++kg so the throttle is going to feel spongy being powered by a 2.2L but rest assure the top speed is stable.

Good luck with the find [thumbsup]

Thats nonsense ... I believe the mods other people do in other countries are much more aggressive then in Singapore (due to LTA restriction). Yet other countries still offer 3 yrs/175,000km whichever comes first. [thumbsdown]
