Wreckwrx 1st Gear December 28, 2004 Share December 28, 2004 Has anyone had the same problem before... I had this trouble with my barely 1 week old WRX during the heavy downpour. The remote refused to work and i had to use the key to open the doors. I tried the remote again after running the engine for about 2 minutes and then it worked fine again. I spoke to my SE who said that it appears to be quite common during cold weather. I dont quite buy his explanation. Anyone else has had/ is having a similar problem? P/S: I spotted a black WRX in Tampines last week. Car plate SFP 61XX. Just to let you know that both of your rear lights are not working. Recommend you go back and bang table with regards to the remote. Cold weather my ars* what kinda excuse is that .... Go and tell him you didn't pay 99k for a faulty remote. Don't want any harm to come to his wrx and more importantly, don't want his wrx to cause any harm on the road......especially with the wet weather conditions lately.
