I use newspaper for my hse windows lar...but for windscreen, will it lead to any scratches ?

newspaper should be safe on the windscreen - will not lead to scratches.

actually I also use newspaper to clean the rear view mirror and side mirror as well. just wipe off all the dirt and throw away the newspaper - safe the hassle of washing cloth.

I use MF to wipe the windscreen . My mf has two different sides, one is less plush and that side is good for windows, more bites in cleaning

I think better not use newspaper as the ink coating will be coated onto your windscreen so when it rains, you will see a layer of black coating on driver side of the windscreen and your rims area. Not advisable.

Really? But I don't think those newspaper ink will dissolve as easily as those prints from inkjet printers. So far did not notice such phenomena of newspaper smudging windscreen.
