Enquire on the window tint

Hi guys i have one question in my mind, My car was previously installed with v-cool and the tint percentage is only 23% and the visible light is 77%. I intend to darker the tint to the LTA standard or 25% visible light.The lady boss say that i can just add the new 25% visible light tint to my car and she say that this confirm will pass the LTA inspection , how true is she. Can my car really pass the Lta inspection.Have anyone done that and pass the LTA inspection or not. Thanks

Hi,

 

I presume you are talking about the rear windows and windscreen, as now LTA allows the rear windows and windscreen to have only 25% visible light.

 

Yes, you can change your current 77% VL to 25% VL by adding another layer of tinted film. So far never heard of got any complains from those people who went to add addition layer.

I meant that the layer that i am going to add is 25% visible light only by itself. That meant that after this layer the back the dark tint will be a bout 90++ % dark . I that ok?Anyone tried that before.

Hi,

 

I think the lady boss meant that after the additional layer, the back tint become 25% VL. Normally the shops will only do tint which meets the legal limit, unless special request.

Can choose diff tints for rear, the darker it is, the less IR rating
