wow....now that the quarral is over, i can come in ask questions already

 

i heard good reviews about apexi open pod, but i would like to check out the size.

 

mine is musso pickup and i am already using other brands of open pod. i am looking out for a larger open pod as i got lots of space in the engine bay....

 

does apexi open pod got larger than the normal car size type of open pod?

if you have not done any other modification on your car changing to open pod will increase your fuel and your mid&high end will be better a little . better go for a semi open pod that can direct cold air in

that's true.....

 

after i put in the open pod without other mod, fuel consumption increased and mid and high end imrpove a bit.....but low end lose out....this is despite i already got an intercooler....

 

after that my friend told me to create a box for the open pod, then i did so but i make sure the box don cover the hole in which air is coming in, then low end back to normal.....once low end back to normal, i don jump you so much, consumption also not much different from the original air box

 

btw what is semi open pod?

apexi have larger one but hard to find cos most shop stock up on the common size like

apexi a022, a023 and a025

 

 

you can do a heat shield to fill up the space and it will be better if you are a n/a car

I thought a forum is for us forumers to post our point of view. some may have a good experience with a particular shop but some doesn't. different people have different standards of expectation of wat a shop provides. Even a five star restaurants have food reviews. some find it nice but some finds it hard to swallow as i say diff people diff views or lets say diff taste. by giving a humble point of view will have law suit than wat is a forum for when everyone will start to lie. having negative remarks isn't tat bad. one should review wat another comments thus upgrade their company standards or services rather than asking them to speak to a third party or filing law suits against them.

semi open pod is a open pod that come with heat shield you could use it as open pod or connect a cold air duct to draw in air from place that are cooler just like your orginal air box but less restrict
