Hi,

I'm considering the Trajet as well. Got a few questions the SE can't answer, so might aswell ask the owners. rolleyes.gif

1) How heavy are the seat if you were to take them out?

2) Is the seat removal a screwless operation?

removal as in remove the whole seat? but it can be fold up..the storage space should be quite enough..personally i feel its quite a hassle to fold up as seats quite heavy. haf u ever consider the toyota wish?

Hello! The seats aren't exactly light, but there are no exact specifications on its weight... So i can't really answer this... But i assure you, the 2nd and 3rd row seats are removable, screwless...

Planning to buy from me? [sly]

My purpose is not to free up the space, but rather make a walking passage from 1st row to 3rd row. Something that Wish cant do. btw, any idea whether Wish can take a baby seat in the 3rd row?

I had a Trajet 3 years back but sold it after using for 1 year.

Tried removing all the 2nd and 3rd row seats.cabin space similar to van

The seats are REALLY HEAVY especially the 3rd row , double seater

Removal is screwless, very easy

carrying them out is very very tough.( I did it alone).

Putting them back is not as easy as taking out, as u have to align the

"claw grip" to the anchor bar.before the "claw grip can lock on to the anchors.

U have to try it and once experienced, it will be a breeze.

BTW my consumption was 6.5 km/l for a 2L, stock [thumbsdown][thumbsdown]

Cruising was good but pickup otherwise.

Comfort level was very good

Taxis cud pickup faster than me, off the traffic lights

i dun mind 6.5 km/l if you get the performance

my previous cars were 6.5 to 7 km/l, the hi fc came with the performance.

getting 6.5 to 7 km/l without the performance is no go for me.

Of course, the onli thing that I miss is the spaciousness & comfort of the Trajet.

My guess the seat weight about 10kg. 2nd and 3rd rows seats are removable. FC for Trajets have improved as compare to 3 years ago model. With CVVT model, some reported getting 10km/L and some 2003 Sirius II model got 9km/L. [thumbsup]

I had driven the Pre-FL model before. Pickup is really sluggish. But its the flexibility, comfort and quiet that I want, and hence, Trajet comes to mind. Anyway, can't drive fast also as I have 2 babies. sweatdrop.gif
