Proton Gen2 OR Mitsubishi Lancer ???

Advise needed.....

@ frist thought of getting Mitsubishi Lancer (manual @ $61,988)

but after trying the Proton Gen2 (manual @ $56,388).

I find it much more better. Now beri blur dont know which 1 to get.....

Hope tat I can get some advise from U pros Out There....

 

Btw anyone have the Proton Gen2 (Auto)???? Good anot???

You sure you want a Proton Gen2? I testdrive it and it was noisy. And the suspension was bad. Put me off completely. Went for the Chevy Optra instead. Better handling, comfort, quiet, stable.... only minus pt is the FC.

Went to see Gen 2 n waja, wow the price really put me off. At 59888 for waja 1.6A, i can get a sunny. though interior of waja is so much better than gen 2. Much More spacious, but their finishing have never improve. sigh.

For gen2 worst, passenger area is so cramp, head is hitting the roof with only 2-3cm allowance. And the showroom model is so bad, with the console cover coming out and seat adjustment knob gone. Really no standard at all.

I would rather buy a 2nd hand proton than a new one...................

i wil jus add my vote for lancer. own it for 4 yrs..manual...4 yrs ago, my options were altis, sunny and lancer. no regrets.

if price is not an issue, go for lancer.

at least it's made in japan, the reliability is there and looks way better than the gen2.

and also, it projects a better image driving a lancer rather a gen2.

 

instead, you should consider avante/forte rather than gen2

my vote goes to Lancer.~

driven a GLX and GDi version before and very happy with the rides.~

about Gen2, the price is good but the look is a direct turn-off for me.~

but that's just me.~
