i bought this 2nd hand 323...it came with those "cushion seat" not leather one...i want to change it to leather...any recommendation? should i do that?

leather seat good and comfortable. easy to maintain 2.

 

U may either..

1) transfer from another 323 whose owner wana to change/ scrap his car.

2) go to Jackspeed or other upholstery shops.

bro, which month n year is the 323 registered ?

 

whether or not to change to leather depends on a few factors :

 

1) are the current fabric seats dirty aldy ?

2) ur parking place (house and work place) under shelter ? coz leather will give up more heat under the sun.

3) leather needs apply polish or cream to ensure the leather doesnt crack or tear with usage.

4) cost of leather can go from $300+ (half leather) to full leather of ($1k+).

 

yeah. i agree that in aircon condition, leather is more comfy.

 

i am currently driving a june 03 323 with fabric seats. coz i ask MM not to install the leather as my house n workplace got no shelter.

How much did you paid for the 2nd hand 323 ?

 

My is 323 SDRxxxx auto 1.6 15" sport rim and leather seat (black) Silver metatllic.

Mileage used 47K. Service all along with MM.

 

Did you get the $888 extended warrenty for another 2 years ? I paid for it for my 323. Guess what? I drove for 3 years and sold it away. No refund or partial refund. $888 go down to drain.

 

Damn that SE who told me it can transfer but did not tell me about car send for scratch.

 

Now I also have service voucher given $1000 during my car purchase.Left 3 X $50 buck service voucher unused and they told me strictly use for servicing. Cannot buy engine oild (Shell) from them.

 

Now My $150 is looking for new master !!! May consider to sold it at cheaper price at 50%.

actually i find it not worth while to pay for extended warranty.

 

my rationale is warranty doesn't cover you with wear and tear items. and also to preserve warranty you gotta pay more to service ur car at agent. at the end of the day you pay say 1.3k ($888+additional servicing cost over the period of the extended warranty) extra but the cost of the item u claimed from them during this period of warranty is unlikely to be >1.3k.

mine was 99 model, paid $300 above scrap value 2 years ago. The mazdamotor extended warranty not worth lah.. Anyway its quite easy to sell, try mazdasingapore club loh sure got people want
