Leong27 Neutral Newbie April 13, 2008 Share April 13, 2008 Hi all! I love doing DIY detailing on my ride. But washing thoroughly then waxing by hand can easily take up 4 hours. Not to mention an aching back and stiff fingers... So, I would like to invest in an orbital buffer but there doesn't seem to be much variety in the local shops. Most common model is the Black & Decker, available at HomeFix or Carrefour. Any reviews on this or other models? And where can I get them? A prerequisite is that it should be 'safe' enough to be handled by a first-timer like me... and 'safe' meaning that I won't cause catastrophic damage to my paintwork.. Hahaha Hi bro jus got a DA from one of the member here..its Ultimate detailing machine.110v 500w...cost ard 300plus with shipment and two pads and spent another $85 for stepdown transformer.so far results are great esp removing swirl marks...at least 85% gone,gd power and easy to handle as me 1st timer anyway..but if come to scratch marks cant do much..scratch marks as in done by keys,as i sractch my own car n try to remove it but to no avail.. but fr MADDETAILER he recommend me FLEX but that one damn ex $700plus..so i settle down for UDM.so far very happy abit it.... http://www.ultimatedetailingmachine.com/
