Side mirror treatment?

Wonder if any ppl use those for the side mirrors???... Those that prevent water droplets from forming thus allowing clear vision even during rain. I'm not referring to Rain-X as tat cannot be coated on side mirror which is not glass. Saw those from Fusso Glaco or something from Autobacc. Any comments?

Uhm? I thought side mirrors ARE made of glass?

Nevertheless, I did try applying Rain-X on my side mirror, but didn't work very well. I'd guess Rain-X works on the windows and rear windscreen cos the wind from a moving car helps to blow the droplets away. But side mirror is not affected by the wind from a moving car.

and i agree with your point.... cos i ever apply rain-X on the side mirror too... macham never apply like that. water droplets.... then got dust stain and all....

I could be wrong.... But mirror n glass is different rite?.... read the instruction on the glass polish from autogylm tat its onli suitable for glass. I tot glass n mirror diff?? I tried n it felt oily on my side mirrors n veri difficult to wipe off. N it wont dry off with a haze.
