Godd choice! I'm the one who drive the new Mondeo, and there's another new member-Zorro drives the Mondeo too.

How much for your new Mondeo?

Welcome to MCF Bro [nod][nod] ....... yes there are at least two other proud owners of Mondeo here........ when you see one of the Mondeos, you jaws will probably drop as you walk around the car, especially when you stand behind it [sly][rolleyes][rolleyes]

The Mondeo cost 96K (4 Dr Sedan Black)

I added a bodykit, similar to ST220 ( No Spoilers) from the Regent Motors for another 1.5K [thumbsup]

Total car cost 97.5K... Think it is reasonable as last week before te COE drop it was at 97900 without the kit

Additional freebies- Remote Key,reverse sensor +mat... also request for change of HU to Blaupunkt instead of Alpine cos feel the look is better( Heard Blaupunkt is cheaper though [:p]

What do you think? Reasonable?

Comparing it to the Mazda 6. In the end decided on the Mondeo due to its reviews... Also test drive felt more at ease with it due to its excellent ride( similar to a VW) and the quality of interior used.( No offense to M6 as I still feel it is a handsome car)

Not to keen on the spoiler as it does not look too good on the sedan ( Rather big compared to Hatch)

Which model are you driving, 4 or 5 door?

Congrats on your latest purchase! Though I am not much of a Mondeo fan, my wish in future is to get one of these 2.0 litre automatic. Mondeo is a good candidate, I suppose but I think I prefer the Mazda 6 cuz more sporty-looking to me. But then again, u are driving the Mondeo so what matters most is u like it!

Happy driving!

i have tested both the Mondeo and the Mazda6..... both are worthy cars especailly in the handling department...... imho, the handling of the Mondeo is better for my driving taste though not by much...... plus the interior space of the Mondeo is also larger, which appeals to space-hungry me.......

either one will make me very happy,.......... [thumbsup]

Hi there

Actually narrow down to M6 and the Mondeo

Both have its merits, M6 being a beautiful animal and Mondeo being the silent killer

Love the M6 shape but the interior and the ride is not as classy and firm as the Mondeo

So it boils down to how it feels while driving and the Mondeo stands out due to its classy cockpit and 'fun' factor in ride

Anyways skeptical abt Conti cars as I am driving a Seat Ibiza and gives me a lot of problems. but with the Ford 5 year warranty and 3 year servicing (best in mkt) , Mondeo is the choice..

Happy x mas and happy motoring

Cheers

I guess if interior space is your priority, the Mondeo will make a better choice. Not too sure about the handling capabilities of the Mondeo vs the Mazda 6 since I have not driven or even ridden in either cars yet.

There is this 2.3 L Mazda 6 with twin exhaust pipe I saw at the recent Suntec Motor Show and boy did the car leave me drooling. Ok. Ok. The Mazda showgirls also left me a deep impression. [laugh]

Anyway, as long as u are happy with your choice, that is most important! [nod]

"Not too sure about the handling capabilities of the Mondeo"

Hi! there, Rainbow6,

Top Gear just did a 2L shoot-out, Mondeo was tops on the race-track. But then, they used a manual.

Rgds
