Read the fine print. It laments Saab as a marque with individual character. It looks like the Swedish maker is forced increasingly to conform to GM's draconian ways to climb out of the red.

What next ? A 4-ltr Leganza as the next Commodore ? Or maybe an Espero HSV.....hey, I like the sound of that....[laugh]

Incidentally, i read that Holden in Australia is using an ex Daewoo model as the new Vectra smallcry.gif

 

with the kind of chapalang mix and match branding, they'll never build a strong brand anywhere.

They've done that with the Barina. The Aveo will appear in Australia as the Holden something.

 

Actually been reading up at Daewootech, the engines that the Aveo and Optra uses are Holden engines.
