Although mechanical but in the generation of power it's a very composite interaction....too many things to be listed in theoretical forms ....even a dyno is just that: calculation with certain constants and considering certain variables...in otherwords...you must wonder what is the purpose of such a thing or product....e.g. the cyclone....you want more (1) power (2) Fuel efficiency....

(1) If right after installation you feel the POWER - it has done it's job .no matter what the dyno says ..or your next door neighbor thinks....it has done it's Job

(2) IF fuel efficiency increased in numbers then it has also completed what it said it would do.

So why delve into the technologies when you dont even understand quantum physics..rite?

True! So the key point is to try and comment, right? I might try the Surbo thing after I am more familar with my own engine.

But given historical data and false info on website, there's a high probability that it is a scam. If that is true, then some conmen get richer with your $.

No harm trying and comment. But if I think it is scam, I will not buy it, and I'll try to hopefully show people why I think it is a scam.

Power : It is subjective. You have dyno showing power increase at max limit. You have got throttle response, partial throttle performance. partial throttle and throttle response are already tuned to ideal air fuel ratio for least emission. If any tool hacks your car such that you feel a difference, you are running rich and emission has increased at the expense. Fuel usage during such instances are negligible, but higher.

E.g After resetting ECU, I feel instant increase in response and acceleration. However, I know my car is running rich as the fuel trim adjusts (ODB2). After sometime, when it fully adapts, you feel the usual sluggishness, then I know my car is running at best economy and emissions.

With my mods, I am quite sure I get 10 extra hp or so to 140hp. If you "feel" power with some snake oil mods you won't know what's the power gain, definitely not 20hp as most magnets claim.

Fuel efficiency: With CAI, grounding, e-manage, center feed fuel rail, my current FC is 13.6 km/liter. If I drive local streets most of the time, it may drop to 11km/liter. I'm happy with the FC, and all I'm doing is make sure my fuel injectors are cleaned and all sensors are all properly connected/cleaned. Tire pressure, and many other factors.
