Yes if the car is indeed here, they will know the omv one. Either he's lazy to find out or he's hidding. But since it's not written in contract, u can't do anything to them if they give u a lower than communicated one also.

So what should we to to shoot him back if he still insist that we have to wait for COE? Is there any documents that we can ask him to show us or what? Like what you mentioned, the log card? Have you bought the airwave? If so, does the SE include the OMV before you sign the contract?

U turn ok what... steering is light, no prob.

if you think yours may have issue, may get the mechanic to check on your Power Steering oil?

Frankly, now that u have signed, don't expect enthusiastic service like before u sign.

Just try to press for it then and get him to show u the log card.

 

Also stating the omv on the contract will not matter unless there's also a clause in the contract stating refund of monies if OMV falls below certain level. But since most dealers quote high omv as a sales tactics, they will not likely agree to that at all.

The obsession with high OMV should not be over-emphasized. I do not want to quote actual names here but in the PI market, there are some dealers who always price their cars at the lower end of the market due to the lower OMV of the cars that they bring it. Most of them operate with certain margins, so don't expect a high OMV if you are buying a vehicle which is priced lower than the average market price.

Bro, i dun think you can get OMV at 19k for no moon roof Airwave. Probably he is quoting you on the high side. I think what you can do is ask him what will be the confirmed range of the OMV you will be getting. If I am not wrong, the range will be from 17.5K to 18.5K. get him to commit and "penalised" him if he cant fulfill his words.

Agree, if the OMV is really 19K, then he would have to pay more for his car. The OMV and purchase price goes hand-in-hand.

Airwave without moonroof's OMV optimal range about $17500-$18500. Some PIs got it lower as they get mass quantity or they find cheaper stocks in Japan itself. If the car is towed out of port, you will know the OMV. Because that is when you pay the taxes for the car itself. Airwave itself is getting more and more popular, if they have been delivering Airwaves, they should roughly know the OMV, unless new batch new stock. Then different story.

If I can go back to the time that I purchase this car, I should have gotten the ACTIVE Package ( c/w 7-speed, Bodykit, Foglamp, rims, auto-aircon, tonneau cover etc.).

 

Only the L package will have 7 speed and digital aircon... and still no tonneau cover...

It is like a birth cert of the car when it shows all the info like capacity, type, model, color, omv etc.

For this you have to do it at your own way, no one can teach you. If the amount he promised drift too much, ask for free goodies. (as some bro said, cant be he dunno what is the omv he has since the stock is already there)

Very unlikely. On the other hand, if it is true of what you get, then it is a bonus (as good as kenna 4D)
