Definitely although the price may be on the high side when compared to other Made in Thailand Jap models.

Hi ALL Airwave Brothers

Β

Its been quite a while since we last meetup at the photoshoot in April... 1st meetup only 2 Airwaves turn up, 2nd meetup we have ard 6-8 Airwaves and on the SHC photoshoot we also have about 8 Airwaves only...

Β

Seeing the Airwave list is growing to >30 owners (and still growing), and owners kept looking forward for the next Airwave meetup, therefore, I would like to intiate a meetup (1 month in advance!! ) in order to allow everyone to get to know each other better and sharing tips on our waves.

Β

Here are the details:

Β

Date: 21st July 2006, Friday

Time: 20:00hrs

Location: Car Park next to Kallang Macdonalds

Β

*note: meetup will automatic cancel if it is raining!

Β

Hope this advance notice is sufficient for everyone to make a point to join this gathering. Pls do indicate your attendance in the list below in order to motivate more Airwave owners to come forward!

Β

And to those whom had booked but haven't got their Airwaves and those planning to get, please do join us too! Isn't it better to get more info on the Airwave face to face compare to posting threads?

Β

Looking forward to everyone's support!

Hi,

Β

Just to check, Do any of the Airwave bro put up the Mugen Rear spoiler? Got photos to see?

Β

I have seen those on Mugen official website but would prefer a more localised version.

Β

Cheers

It's really up to individual expectations.

For me it is a joy to listen and see rain pouring from the sky :D.

Β

Cheers

Β

PS: When it rains, we can confirm no haze coming to Singapore... [thumbsup]

Think it's actually quieter. No noise issue for my ride when raining... Great sight when u see raining coming down on the moon roof!!! [thumbsup]

So far this is my observation between Airwave and my previous sunny (1.5A)

Β

Good pt for Airwave as compare with sunny

1. Powerful pick up.

2. Better FC.

3. More room space for rear passenger.

4. Able to seat 'more passenger'.

Β

-ve pt for Airwave as compare with sunny

1. Weak A/C, no indication of temp.

2. Engine not as quiet.

3. Sunny can obtain high speed at lesser rpm (sunny ard 100kph at 2200rpm, airwave need at least 2500rpm)

4. No door self lock when depress brake paddle (a safety feature if you have kids).

Β

Overall, I'm still happy with my airwave.. Not too sure any comment from other airwaver?

The doors do self lock when you depress your brake paddle. I have not owned a Honda since my first ride more than 20 yrs ago - The First Generation Civic Hatchback. The feeling is like re-uniting with a sibling I have seen for the last 20 yrs - simple marvelous.

Thought this feature (door locked when brake pedal stepped) is dependant on the Alarm system... not from the car's electronic. [:/]

Is it? My friend driving Ford with same alarm key feature as my sunny, also come w/o self door lock feature. Anyone can clarify
