Farting smell after hard acceleration

yesterday rev up to 6000 rpm redline, after that got some smell inside the cabin, smell like fart, wondering what happen? any guru can help?

Are u alone in the car? maybe is ur family member or frd who sat in it scared, panicked and farted when u rev so high and speed so fast? hehe :)

 

i know someone will come out this..haha.. [rolleyes]

Quite normal I suppose bro...

 

My car has a smell too when Vtec kicks in... it smells like papaya.. like one of the bros in FN2 forum described..haha [shocked]

normal la..redline more u will be use to the smell lor.. [lipsrsealed]

recently i got rear ended... workshop changed "new" exos for me.....

 

now mine no need hard rev oready smell like fart.... wen u open the door, wa piang like got dead body at the boot area..... :ph34r:

 

workshop said its normal coz its "new" so now i juz live with it.....

Agreed. Strange right? Why should there be a fart smell? There are many different kinds of fart, which one was it? [:p]

 

Even when I rev to 8k I don't smell anything outta the ordinary...

Common. Its the smell from your catalytic converter burning. Usually the one at exhaust manifold.

 

Its normal.
