I'm about to change car battery. And all the while, i'm using Amaron Maintenance Free (Green). I paid $100 last time i replaced (Oct 2008). I'm going to use back Amaron again, since this brand never gave me any trouble since donkey years ago. In fact right now, my present Amaron still going strong, though its already 2 years and 5 months. I got sub amp and box woofer installed. Convince me to switch to another MF brand with similiar or cheaper price and which workshop i can go to change. Any workshop that charge cheaper than $100 for Amaron Battery MF? My batt is the smallest capacity.

Date Cat'D' Quota Bids Unsuccessful Sep, 2007 1 $1,081 500 787 287 Aug, 2007 2 $1,189 481 648 167 1 $1,251 482 828 346 Jul, 2007 2 $1,052 480 731 250 1 $1,082 538 948 410 Jun, 2007 2 $1,053 518 907 389 1 $1,252 482 585 103 May, 2007 2 $1,352 479 750 271 1 $1,345 491 772 281 Apr, 2007 2 $1,184 480 768 287 1 $1,013 478 596 118 Mar, 2007 2 $1,001 450 554 104 1 $964 471 777 306 Feb, 2007 2 $901 483 626 143 1 $1,001 536 639 103 The average unsuccessful bidders per round is ONLY 240 people! Meaning to say, if we can somehow convince these 240 people to give up the idea of buying a motorcycle for this year.....then theoretically the COE can become $1 Why let LTA earned $8.2million from 7349 numbers of potential motorcycle owner from Feb to Sept. When all we need is to JUST REDUCE 240 person from buying a motorcyle! Mind you this is not every month asking 240 people to not buy a motorcycle. If in February we can somehow convince this 240 people not to buy a bike, the remaining of the months the COE will remain $1. Of course you guys will argue that when COE is $1 many more people will come in, then it will defeat the purpose. Maybe if these 7349 people can come to an agreement to pay $88 to a pool where the 240 people can share.....then each one will get $2694 for the year for not buying their motorcycle. (That means effectively, the COE only cost them $88 per person, better than paying over $1k to LTA)
