  1. A driver who seems to have underestimated the size of his package has gotten himself stuck under an overhead bridge along the West Coast Highway. Published on SG Road Vigilante, the accident happened last night (9 June 2020), causing traffic heading towards Pasir Panjang some inconvenience at the junction of West Coast Highway and Alexandra Road. Judging from the photos shared online, we can't be sure whose fault it was. It could be the transporter's/driver's fault or the escort service's fault (if there were hired in the first place). We hope the bridge remains open and unhurt! Check out what netizens have to say!
  2. just though i'll share with u guys here about my bad exprience over the weekend at the mentioned restaurant. was there to celebrate my gf's birthday, sadly was left dissappointed. food there was totally ordinary, but the price was extraordinary. for $25 i had some pasta drenched in olive oil, garlic and 1 pathetic deep fried "baby" crayfish chopped in half. service time was LOOOOOOONNNNGGG. between my starter n main i had to wait 1hr, n rubbing salt to the wound was the fact thet the wait was well NOT worth it, and being already so hungry i cleared my plate in 5mins. then came the HIGHLIGHT! bill time, i asked for the bill, n waited for 10mins n no one came, saw some commotion at the counter but not my bill, so i asked for it again, 5mins, no one, finally i asked a 3rd waiter, he brought me a bill, was was about to pay n i noticed some items i didn't order on the bill, hey that's NOT MY BILL! went to the counter to find out the problem, it doesn't take a fool to infer that they had mixed up my bill with the previoius diner who had already paid for their dinner w my bill, and the staff tried to CON me to settle their bill instead! (which was $30 more) it was good thing i checked my bill. by then 30mins had passed n i missed my movie, to top it off, the staff was the least bit appologetic when i told them i was late for my movie, giving me the nonchanlant "yah i know" reply before walking off. tried to con me a second time when she asked for my credit card w/o even showing me the bill again, so i replied " can i please see the bill!" that was then she printed the bill out from the system, what's up w that man?! there was no discount for me, no explaination, all i got was a well rehearsed "sorry to keep u waiting" DAMN! conclusion, bad staff, ordinary food, un-special ambience, long waiting time = go find another better place to go.
  3. Extracted from: http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/bmw-singapore...rador-park.html Hi All, Went for lunch today at Labrador Park, parked at the car park and walked up to the restaurant. After lunch drove away and noticed that my tank was less than 1/4 full, when it was full before lunch. Very suspicious started to think what could have happened, car was running OK, ,thought someone could have siphoned petrol but then this is Singapore, not some third world country - cannot be. Stopped to check, no smell of petrol and no sign of leak. So last resort, check petrol flap, damn someone has levered it open, damaged the paint and bent the lock tab back and damaged part of the locking mechanism, and obviously taken about 60 to 70 litres of petrol. Have to look on the positive side, the a-holes didn't do any worse damage, but no consolation feel very fed up. So watch out if you are at that place.
