I am a resident in Dover Road for over 30 years and am recently affected by the Enbloc/SERS upgrading and have to shift about 500m from my existing home to the new ones at Blocks 28A to D at Dover Crescent. I do not have any outstanding summons with the HDB nor do I own a vehicle. I love my home and the residents in the small area of Dover are a very closely knitted bunch. The HDB has inconvenienced and endangered residents, handicapped and pedestrians as well as other road users by using the Handicap Lots at Block 28C to dump sand and debris. This prevents the handicapped residents and members of the public from using the handicap lot. Residents in the process of moving and unloading do not have a proper space to park their vehicles to unload. The Loading and unloading Bay at Block 28C is fully blocked and taken up by the HDB contractor

Hi all, Model: Lancer 2006 This problem happens after my car break down due to battery flat. I shall elaborate, sorry for spending your time to access my story. _____________________________________________________________________ My car was about to send for 20k, but before servicing, my wife and i went to KL for 4 days 3 night after our ROM. After returning to SG, when i was about to un-arm my car, no effect, so i manual unlock my car. I could not start my car, in the end, my car was tow to C&C, not knowing there is a charge for towing, i negotiate with C&C, for them not informing me, so ended up towing FOC. They done standy serivicing + change a new battery for me. They also tighten the belt so that during cold start, will not hear 'yi..yi... sound' After a week of driving, problem starts to surface. Problem: When i starts engine, once i accelerate, i can hear left bonnet producing sound (like sands sound, as if my car is sucking sands) If i accelerate below 1.2 RPM, no sound, once i push a bit more, the sound can be hear. During the beginning, is considering loud, cause i can hear it inside the cabin, after a long drive, the sandy sound gets softer, but the sandy sound still remains. Experts... 1. Do you have any idea what is the causes? 2. I will call up C&C later but i believe they will ask me to drive down to check, which will incur consultant charge (most likely) or additional servicing charge 3. This problem is after my 20k servicing, i wandering if i bring up after the servicing, will they retify FOC, which i will call up later to clarify 4. Knowing Lancer engine is problematic, if early detection, i can immediately change a new car, at least my lost is on car rather changing the entire engine gear box. Hope to get some infos from you guys. Thanks. Keith
