One driver at my estate has been tailgating cars and even motorcycles out of our carpark for the past one year, close to two. This is on a daily basis. I know, because we leave around the same time every day . He parks at the white lots so if Fatimah comes they won't be able to check. Though I believe the system should only have his entry and not exit records. I've already reported to HDB fyi. Would you report or let it slide? Can still close eye if motorcyclists exit by the gap or if you wanna tailgate your friend out if you visit their house, but at least buy season parking for your own carpark la.

not really a complain but a really funny encounter i had yesterday. i was driving along bt timah road and near SCGS i encountered this really slow moving car with a P-plate Colt following behind tailgating. I thought it was just a case of road hogger and new driver dun dare to overtake or what. I just pulled to the right and overtook. The Colt suddenly sped up, overtook and started tailgating me. Realising this guy must be a nutter or something, I wasn't too bothered. Just cruised along let him tailgate. A black Saab turned out to the main road around Tan Chong motors infront of me and sped away. The Colt immediately undertook (overtaking from the left) me and tailgated the Saab. Interested to see what would happen, I followed behind. The Colt was doing it to every car. Tailgate a while, overtake, tailgate. Maybe he looking for someone to race. In that case, maybe he should haven been trying on Honda Civic Type Rs, Evo or Wrexes instead of family sedans. Or maybe he couldn't find. Next time I intro him to the GTR in my neighbourhood. Or maybe he just OCD

Ahhhhh..... Today I had the opportunity of seeing the above....although I had a hand in it myself. Well here was how it happened: I was cruising in my powerful piece of machine in Lane 2 and well within the limit when out of nowhere a tiny car came zooming down the Lane 1 and tailgated a BMW at astonishing speeds. There I was thinking ....hmmmm......tailgater........hmmm........ And he tailgated for quite a while until an opportune moment that allowed the BMW to move to Lane 2 so as to allow the tailgater to zoom ahead. Me thinking again......hmmmm.....shall we conduct an experiment on human behaviour here? So without wasting time, I moved to Lane one and literally parked behind the tailgater. Now am I the tailgater too.....hahahaha? The original tailgater, obviously noticed me and picked up speed, not wanting to conceed Lane 1. Now he's the hogger!!!! So I pursued....and matched his speed. Still the (now) hogger would not give way even though he knew he could not outrun me. He had ample opportunity to move to Lane 2 but did not for reasons I do not know. And this went on for quite some time. Until it was firm in my mind that he would not give in, I moved to Lane 2 and shot ahead of him in 2 secs. So guys don't blame the hoggers cos they are tailgaters too. One and the same. And vice versa. Do what you have to and don't whine about it.
