Nlatio Turbocharged November 26, 2011 Share November 26, 2011 See what Happily1986 said. It goes like this: 1. Turn on wireless hotspot on your mobile phone. On the iPhone, I believe it's called "Personal Hotspot". Take note of the name of the network created. 2. Get the Transformer to connect to the wireless network created by the phone via wifi. And that's it :) Generally your internet connection will be faster this way too, compared to an internet connection via bluetooth tethering. Yes its done this way.... BUT be warn sometime it can get unstable... as in the signal will just drop...... esp you on SH.... ↡ Advertisement

Ben5266 Supercharged November 26, 2011 Share November 26, 2011 Actually how this Airport work?? It is a normal wireless router, same as those from linksys or dlink. Just that Apple remove the LAN ports and make it compact in size for easy to bring along.
Donut Supercharged November 27, 2011 Author Share November 27, 2011 i heard about Motorola Xoom How are these 2 compared, besides the docking keyboard. http://reviews.cnet.com/tablets/motorola-x...html?tag=subnav What caught my eye about Xoom is it has 32 GB memory, compared to Asus 16 GB memory. i also heard that Xoom's android version is upgradable to 4.0 in future. It has micro USB and HDMI ports No built in GPS No SD card port It's heavier at 720g. I held it in my own hands, yes it does feel heavier..... Ysc3 Twincharged May 4, 2018 Share May 4, 2018 Just dug out my Asus transformer pad from the starhub contract giveaway ... The thing still works! But it's super slow and sometimes cannot respond. When it was new, the response was almost immediate. Does electronics become old and frail also?
Watwheels Supersonic May 4, 2018 Share May 4, 2018 (edited) Just dug out my Asus transformer pad from the starhub contract giveaway ... The thing still works! But it's super slow and sometimes cannot respond. When it was new, the response was almost immediate. Does electronics become old and frail also? Haha...no lah. When you are not using electronics/electrical devices frequently enough oxidation sets in on the circuitboard. The copper and tin printed circuit will oxidise over time when not in use. Hence it's better to store in a moisture free environment. You can open it up and spray quick dry electrical contact solvent on the circuitboard but make sure to disconnect the battery terminals or drain the battery of power first. I have also use this product called nanoprotech on my soundbar. Coz I hardly use it the soundbar started to give out static noise and one side of the speaker has no sound. I was like fxxk, just bought it for 2 years only. I open up the soundbar and use the contact cleaner first. It improved a little but one side still no sound. So I try the nanoprotech and spray on the circuitboard. Wipe off the exccess solvent. The instruction said to let the solvent set as long as possible ie.24hrs. I let it set overnight and put it back together. My soundbar basically came back to life. I could hardly believe it. My soundbar still works well today. I bought it at Horme hardware shop. $32 for a small can. No cheap but it saved my soundbar. The distributor I think is at Ubi. Same building as mxtradings. Slow is becoz of the circuit and processor. Basically the conductivity between the printed circuit and processor is deteriorated by the oxidation. So the signal sent becomes slow If you look at videos of how circuitboards are made they go thru acid baths and solvent baths before they are being packaged. The conductivity is improved when they go thru the baths. That's why the connectivity feels fast when you first used it. ↡ Advertisement
