I test drive the QQ1.2 ... Car look bigger than Vezel, pickup seems decent, insulation not bad, but a tad pricy at 117k. Look wise, Vezel tugs at my heart string, Ok at my pocket as compared to QQ.

QQ is aluminum engine block, weighs 1.2ton ! not sure if Vezel is it aluminun engine block too as the sales chap cannot ans me... :-) I am thinking of booking one soon but not sure if right timing as perception wise mkt seem strong promptish but weak down the road... Then again, who can tell ??

Hi Guys, today went for first 1K service. After reading you guys saying about the EO which the workshop say they normally use 40W EO But I insist on Using 30W As recommend fellow vezel Driver. In the end was told to Top Up $40 from $150 to $$190( not including GST).attachicon.gifimage.jpg

is 8650BT the only model that can add on GPS module? Read somewhere that model with second digit 7 are 2015 model which only allow original pioneer GPS module while second digit 6 models are 2014 compatible with aftermarket GPS module.

My installer told me the same thing.

Just thinking aloud. 8650BT would link to your phone (IOS for Andriod) quite easily. Wouldn't it be better to use the nav app in the phone and cast the screen to the HU than to use a separate GPS module which is cumbersome when it comes to software updates? In addition, instead of the GPS module, you could ask for other freebies.

Sounds very expensive for a 1k servicing when all it involves norm check and change of EO and filter.

Just did my 1k servicing today. And I chose this engine oil.

Kinda like this engine oil. =D

Bro, just curious. Did your WS advise you that the viscosity of 10 may be too high for new car, leading to engine wear during cold start as the oil takes more time to reach every nook and cranny in the engine block?

Wonder if other Bro or Sis with deeper knowledge in EO has views on this?

Just did my 1K servicing today too using OWS 5W30. WS keep asking me to use W40 and telling me due to the hot weather, should use W40 instead! But I insisted that I want to use W30 instead. Then continue to tell me that should change to W40 at 30-40K servicing. I told them I simply follow the instruction stated in the Manual. And after reading so much information from this forum, W30 is the only choice! Thank you for all the information shared by experts here! Definitely a great help to aid in the decision making! Really learnt a lots from all Vezel Bro & Sis!

My WS only say that 0 is more for winter and 10 doesn't affect much. I am also not sure too.

Can someone share knowledge pls. Thanks. Mine is due for another service at 5k. Wonder should I use back the same engine oil.

I was at AD. The HRV will be avail for viewing/sale around end April.

Price list is 127-132k.

Confirmed with SE its using the City's 1.5 / 120ps / 145nm / Sohc. Frankly, if its head-on with Qq 1.2T, should be ok since that is a 12.9sec car. The HRV should be within 13sec.

Price wise.... On the high side... But then it is with a Honda logo.

I feel sad they still using single cam (SOHC) engine and without HID headlight. Usually SOHC the RPM will be higher which cause higher fuel consumption.

Went down to make my booking just now. Finally taking the leap after looking through the forum and making a trip down to see the dealer. Decided to go for the "express" queue by paying a slight premium and not negotiating for tons of accessories. If all things goes well, can get my ride next week (committed date is 1 month on service agreement though). Fingers crossed!!

I'm a seller also a buyer too. DOHC sure a buying point for me.

Everyone have the choice of which engine or rather PI or AD.

Well for sure if I have a choice, I sure go for a DOHC / twin cam. Some don't bother / matter and some does. It the same like would you choose a timing chain engine or timing belt cam driven engine?

Type of engine:

SOHC Single overhead cam

DOHC Double overhead cam

V6

V8

V12

No need to feel carrot lah....sign already just carry on....I believe you would have done your sums and is comfortable with the loan and price. No point comparing as there will be cheaper ones around, especially when our first class COE has mood swings like ________ !

Just enjoy the ride bro!

Good to hear this as I do feel others are getting better deals..well, just enjoy the ride since nothing can change..:)

Wah lau, the powerplant really cannot make, man.

Why cant they put a crossroad 1.8liter engine or an accord 2liter engine?

The Vezel really soo say becos of the puny engine.

I really want to buy this for my wife sometime next year but this really puts me off.
