Hyundai driver gets spooked by a honk (like a chinchilla) and loses control of the car

Does this mean that this driver can’t drive through noisy areas?

In a video published on 28th Feb, a Hyundai driver with his head in the clouds attempted to change lanes on the expressway.

The cam driver, situated at Lane 1, was cruising along the road when she noticed the blue vehicle’s actions.

Wanting to alert the Hyundai driver of her presence, she sounded her horn.

This spooked the unalert driver, who sharply swerved to avoid a collision.

His reaction reminds me of a chinchilla, a species that is easily spooked by anything and everything.

However, as the driver had oversteered, this caused him to lose control of his car.

The blue vehicle then hit the front of the cam car as it quickly slid towards the expressway barrier.

This led to the Hyundai driver quickly shifting gears and reversing to avoid a second collision.

The Hyundai’s sudden stunt scared other drivers on the rest of the lanes, all of whom narrowly avoided getting hit.

As the blue Hyundai manages to stop his vehicle in the middle of the first and second lanes, the cam driver could be heard wailing loudly after being hit.

I agree that there should be a balance. While the Hyundai driver should have been more alert, the cam driver should have been prepared to anticipate a potential collision and acted accordingly.

There is no way an alert driver would make a mistake like this (although that second swerve to avoid the barrier was pretty cool).

It takes a certain skill level to pull something like that off.

  • This should be the true Singaporean national dish

Singapore is known to be a melting pot of different cultures, races, people and of course, cuisines from all over the world. You can probably find food from most places here in Singapore, but we also have some dishes that we like to think of as our national dish - okay, google says there isn't an officially declared national dish, but Chicken Rice is one of those that's often mentioned. Yes, we all love Chicken Rice, but it isn't really unique to Singapore.... Nasi Lem

I have a new favourite game - Dave the Diver!

Nowadays I think many people have a Nintendo Switch, considering how it is often given away as a free gift when you sign up for credit cards, etc. Instead of just playing Mario Kart, Overcooked and Pokemon, I have another game to introduce to you all! The game is Dave the Diver. This game has completely captivated me with its delightful blend of adventure and relaxation. From the moment I dove into its vibrant underwater world, I was hooked. The gameplay mechanics strike that perfect b

23 years on, Infernal Affairs remains the best gangster movie I've watched

TL;DR It's over two decades old, but Infernal Affairs remains THE gangster trilogy. *SPOILERS AHEAD* *SPOILERS AHEAD* *SPOILERS AHEAD* The Hong Kong Police and a triad have placed moles in each other's ranks. Tony Leung is Chan Wing Yan, an undercover cop desperate to leave his assignment. The antagonist is Senior Inspector Lau Kin Ming (Andy Lau), a decorated policeman who is actually a mole for Hon Sam (Eric Tsang), a triad boss. It's a game of cat-and-mouse, with poli

    Singapore’s ultimate NDP song?

As my JC classmates suddenly made plans this year to have an NDP watch-party (this is likely our first in the 12 years we’ve known each other), I found myself falling into a state of nostalgia again: This time, thinking about how NDP songs have evolved over the years. It’s not a stretch to say that each NDP song - from the inception of the idea of an NDP song back in 1984 - has woven itself somewhat into the fabric of our collective memories. Whether you were singing along loudly in primary
