Extractor mod... Mod or not mod??

Jus wondering, I was at Fong Kim yesterday, and saw majority of the cars there were changing their extractor. From what I read in Onemotoring, thought it's illegal? Wouldn't that fail the yearly inspection?

Was previously tempted to change my existing 4-1 to a 4-2-1, but was struggling as it would pose a problem during inspection. In the end, didn't do it.

CB is Catback Exhaust. Would further take advantage of your extractor mod.

With extractor theres Equal (high end) and Unequal length (low end).

ECU will further take advantage of these mods.

hi,

"With extractor theres Equal (high end) and Unequal length (low end). "

meaning if its equal length, high end will affect or improve torque?

Used to drive a Lancer CVT before the current facelift.

Did a extractor (Waja 421) with high flow cat mod.

Also did a CAI by running from foglite to a customise airbox with aftermarket drop-in filter.

I also did a piggyback ecu tune by a good tuner.

Response is excellent and FC is good (13~15km/l)

If U're from SLCC, U may want to check with very old bird members (back to days when SLCC is still Delphi forum based) abt my ride...

Hi all..

went to JB today and understand its cheap to change the extractor.

the guy says it better to use a 4-1 extractor. but it seems most of u are using 4-2-1. which is better?

by changing the extractor, is there a significant increase in noise? he said after changing the extractor, still can pass inspection. hw true?

thanks

they got NSH, for them 4-1 better. but SG traffic i believe 4-2-1 is better....

Hello Speedwork,

how much do you all charge for the servicing of the hotbits front coilover and if i wanna change the coil to the 230/45 kg ones can the absorber still take it?

hi, to service the absobers of the coilovers we charge rm84 each, not including the rubber rings and other parts if they worn out,and if your piston rod is spoil there will be another charge of rm80 each. if you wanna change the spring rate you gotta change setting also.

regards

Mark Teo
