Nowadays drivers are really dangerous

These are part & parcel of everyday driving in Singapore [:|] Some people drive as if they are the only one who pay road tax ignoring the safety of other road users [shakehead] Nowdays, fog lights cannot be on unless the road situation is really too foggy or dim but yet we still see many of them switching on even on clear nights [:p] Jus play our part & practice defensive driving when we are on road and be safe [;)]

Bahz, these are all BS. Why? I've asked my lawyer friends about this rule and they say when the fog lights are on, our friendly laser-pointing TPs cannot catch your license plates at night. The reasons fogs are blinding (with the exception of REAR fogs) are all lies i tell you. Whether its true i have yet to ascertain. But just to be safe on the wallet don't quote me just yet. Believe if you must but obey the laws if you want to see the bank a/c with $$ the next day.

fog lights is one thing ...how about those with the ultra-bright lights ... blinding light like high beam all the way ... singapore where got need that bright light ... lta should get their act straight and ban these ultra-bright lights ...

nowadays ... many likes to drive with fog light .. be it with or withour headlight ..

if we r not suppose to have fog lights ON, then why r things still happen ... [thumbsdown]

Agree. In SG I can even drive in the night w/o turning on my headlights due to the bright street lights. It's only when I enter those poorly lit areas like industrial estates or private housing areas then I realli need the headlights to see the road ahead.

a lot of times, taxis drivers can be a pain in the ass, i have witness few that give way. but most just road hog the 1st lane, the express lane.

do u know that the morning jam, partly is cause by taxis driver.

they will travel at 80km/hr, keep a 10-20 car length distance to the car infront and 20 car struck behind him, it a site to see.

Spotted a possible drunk driver the other night. wobbling in and out of lanes on the CTE nearly hitting a cab and another car later on to. Exited at Braddell Rd exit.

An old jaguar. SB?2211?. I'm pretty sure he's drunk. Cos reckless drivers weave in and out of lanes. This guy changes lanes and wobbles back out just to straighten the car... Doesn't seem to know whether his car is travelling straight or not. Then he switched again forcing another driver behind to jam his brakes and slam on the horns.

I agreed with you...My cousin-in-law recently got a car. My cousin took the car out to a nearby market at Bishan for the 1st time.

Just as she abt to leave the carpark, a young indian guy made a very fast turning to the carpark & smashed my cousin's wing mirror. [shakehead]. The poor girl 1st time driving after 10+ yrs....how unlucky can you get!! [bigcry]

I guess most ppl take things from granted. Gone of the old days when everyone is worried over losing their NCDs for insurance.
