Turbonetics 2nd Gear January 20, 2006 Share January 20, 2006 (edited) having some urge yesterday to try my car for 100 metre... the timing i guess was bad....ard 7.5sec and speed was 70km/hr... any of u tried timing before... care to share ur result.... iam using the RSM to test.... Turbonetics 2nd Gear January 20, 2006 Author Share January 20, 2006 anyway,i will try the test again... cos when i tried,when i almost reach 100metre,there is a slope.... so when iam halfway,i realease my acc.... but i duno when i release that time,i already reach 100 metre or not... if already reached,then the timing shd be quite accurate... if not,i will try again...see if can achieve better top speed and shave off 1-2 sec... BlueSi Neutral Newbie January 20, 2006 Share January 20, 2006 You gotta make sure the road is flat all the way till the end of your test, no ups or downs. Its very important to calibrate the G-sensor right before starting. How accurate it is, thats debatable, but if you're trying to improve from yourself, test it in the same place and try to test in same temp. conditions too. By the way, 7.5sec for 0-60 sounds abt right for an NA civic. Mine does around high 6s to low 7s as well. Its the car man! low torque and F-up traction ......
