so a car will be booked for parking on the side of roads that doesn't have any markings?

Normally, from what I understand, TP or Cisco, etc won't go to those area like you mentioned, unless complain was received. So there must be some one who made the complain. Although the complain could be referred to the particular vehicle(s), to be fair to all, they would book all vehicles near the area.

If you were parked illegally, no matter it was in front of your friends or neighbour's gate, treatment should be the same, cause your vehicle was on the public road, your friend or neighbour has any right that allow you to park there, right?

If you still want to fight for the case, then as what it was mentioned, appear at court for answering, ended up, it might cost you more...such as time, energy,...heavier fine...?

for the last 3 offence, zebra line, single / double zig zag, it carries demerit points plus fine.
