Assassin Clutched February 14, 2003 Share February 14, 2003 (edited) Oops..paiseh ...was thinking of 330i and typed M3. A C32 AMG is priced slightly more than the 330i tho. Edited February 14, 2003 by Assassin

Turbobrick Neutral Newbie February 14, 2003 Share February 14, 2003 (edited) Est retail around US$40k, got hope for me liao btw, the Rs have twin intercooler mounted behind the bumpers for better cooling and new KKK turbos compared to the Mitsu turbos used by the standard range of Volvos. Turbobrick Neutral Newbie February 14, 2003 Share February 14, 2003 Bro, my friend's 850R whipped a 330Ci's butt by 3 car lengths in a 1/4 sprint. Noting it's a 285bhp (brick on viagra) vs 231bhp contest

Jgoh Neutral Newbie February 14, 2003 Share February 14, 2003 (edited) Between the C32AMG, S60R and the M3, the AMG gets left behind in the thrills department. Although the 'new' C chassis is a vast improvement over the last one, its the engine that lets it down. The AMG 3.2 V6 is much smoother than the 200 Kompressor four, but the S60R and M3 feels sweeter. The M3 is still THE driver's car, but there's just too many 3's on the road. The S60R is just that much 'fresher' a face, and a much handsomer one at that. The S60R is also much more livable and acceptable for the one-car family and more comfortable on long distance. And since it doesn't embarass itself performance wise, (and costs $$$ less), it'd be my choice. Now if only the bank would cash my cheque... [PS: Surprisingly, the C30 CDi AMG Sports Coupe was a lot more fun than the C32 AMG] Edited February 14, 2003 by Jgoh

Noting it's a 285bhp (brick on viagra) vs 231bhp contest Excellent ! Coz this other 330Ci I know, has about the same bhp as an M3 but more torque. Assassin Clutched February 15, 2003 Share February 15, 2003 If you're looking for performance...or a driver's car...then I'd go for the M3. But when looking more for comfort and luxury, I would go for the C32 AMG. Will go look look see see the S60R when it is available for test drive. If only the diesel versions of the AMG, or any car for that matter, be brought onto our shores. Why is there such reluctance to bring it in when emission standards have improved so much. Anyone can write a cheque...its just whether you have the $$ in the bank or not. Well....back to buying Toto again. Cheers
